I’m an editorial wedding photographer from Durham, NC and consider myself really fortunate to do what I do. There's no substitute for the pace and excitement of weddings, and nothing is better than filling your weekends with celebration and affection.
I got started in the business as a photo editor, but my drive to create rather than correct thrust me behind the camera in 2004. After several years working as an assistant I set out on my own and have loved every minute of it since. When I'm not shooting I spend my days as an interaction designer and a percussion instructor—living happily with my beautiful wife Cassie and two unstable dogs.
